TILE: IT'S NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE

Once upon a time, when selecting tile for your home you only had a few options to choose from. White or Biscuit and 4” x 4” or 3” x 6” ceramic? The look and style of tile has taken a paradigm shift in the last 20-30 years with the most changes in the last 5-10 years. Making your space look unique is easily done with the options available to you today.

Ceramic isn’t your only material choice to choose from; Porcelain, Metal, Glass and Concrete are all commonly used materials. Absorbing the market with its versatility, porcelain tile is available in styles that are look-a-likes of natural stone (marble, travertine, slate and limestone), wood, fabric, metal and concrete. You can now have showers walls that look like you hung a soft linen fabric, or a sheet of copper metal!

Instead of painting, or putting up wall paper for that feature wall you are working on, create texture and dimensions with ceramic tile.

With now endless options in tile styles, this touches the surface of what is available in today’s market. Now that you have a few more decisions to make other than white or biscuit, enjoy being creative with your tile projects!
